RMweb Premium polybear Posted September 20, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 20, 2015 Hi, I already have the book "Aspects of Modelling - Weathering Locomotives"; I'm also aware of two others (seen at S4um on Saturday): 1. Aspects of Modelling - Weathering Rolling Stock 2. Aspects Of Modelling - Locomotive Weathering Projects However, I've seen two versions of front cover for (1) above - one shows two wagons and a parcels van, whilst the other shows a coach and a parcels van. Are there two variants, with different content, or is it simply a change of front cover? Also, I've also seen another book on ebay entitled "Aspects of Modelling - Weathering Locomotives and Rolling Stock". Is this a fourth title in the series, or perhaps a compilation of (some) of the same content contained in the titles above? All very confusing.... Many thanks polybear
RMweb Gold Mick Bonwick Posted September 20, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 20, 2015 There are three editions in this series. 1. Locomotives 2. Rolling Stock 3. Locomotive Weathering Projects If you know of two different covers then be assured the contents are identical. The mention on e-bay is merely a reference to the originally planned (but not used) title of a single edition covering all topics. It was never published in this format. Many thanks for the reply Mick - now to spend some money.... p.s. Many thanks for the weathering lesson at S4um on Saturday Brian (a.k.a. "Hiccup Man".......and yes, I've still got them......around one every 3 seconds last night. Now it's getting silly...)
