westonman
Hi all I want to fit lighting to a Hornby class 37 TTS chassis fitted with a Lima split head code 37 body. Do i just cut the appropriate wires from the decoder plug to join onto the lighting wires or is there a better way to do it. Regards Bob

Regards Bob Hi Bob There's two choices, either cut the White/Yellow and blue wires off at the top of the 8pin plug and join up to the light wiring via "resistors" on each wire apart from the blue. Or attach the wires from the lighting circuits again via resistors to the solder pads at each side of the 8pin socket board. For directional marker/headlights and tails, you'll need to connect the tail wiring from one end to the marker/headlight wiring at the other and vice a versa using 2 functions. You may find that the lights will work at the wrong end relative to direction, but that can be sorted. The "Lima" centre glazing piece will also have to be altered to fit over the new Hornby motor mounting. HTH Ken
