Ghost Trains = Parliamentary Trains

The Paddington-South Ruislip still runs. It's prob a bit different from most 'Parliamentaries' in that Chiltern are happy to keep it at the daily (M-F) frequency. When Marylebone is closed for eg weekend engineering it means their drivers all (most?) have recency of working the route for any diversions to PAD.

(IIRC the route will be obliterated by the new High Speed Line if it comes)

There's a parliamentary train that stops at polesworth station near Tamworth. Situated in the WCML there used to be two platforms now there's only the one platform think up running between Nuneaton and Tamworth that stops once a day about 7 in the morning

I used to live within walking distance of one of the stations on the Stockport to Stalybridge line.  At that time, I didn't have a car, but tended to do a lot of shopping in Stockport, traveling by bus.  For a long time, I couldn't work out where the timetable was, and, when I eventually found it, why the train service was effectively unusable.
