RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted November 26, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 26, 2015 Post on Hornbys Facebook page. Big change if it is the full thing.
RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted November 26, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 26, 2015 Doesn't give us much time to speculate and froth does it?
rovex
Well I was wondering whether this year would be more fizz than froth, given whats been announced so far this year, but with this announcement I'm going to be left with nothing to do all December except concentrate on the day job
RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted November 26, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 26, 2015 Stealing the march on Warley? A moot point would be to consider how much of any "2016 catalogue" is in fact "backalogue" from this and previous years.
RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted November 26, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 26, 2015 My guess is that this will be an announcement of an announcement as it is Warley this weekend...
RMweb Gold JohnR Posted November 26, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 26, 2015 I wonder if there is anything really new for them to announce.
RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted November 26, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 26, 2015 snap but my post got locked This one was started first. By two minutes.
MGR Hooper!
OOoooo yea! I guess wagons are left to announce. Maybe a loco? Hope to see N gauge items and Lyddle End
sawyermodels
I think more TTS Sound locos, some new train sets, retool of an existing loco(s), some more Mk1s and some more wagons.
RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted November 26, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 26, 2015 Whilst some of the headline items have already been announced throughout the year, the actual details of variants etc. have not yet been disclosed and I am pretty sure that there will be more cats to be let out of a bag or two plus of course all the livery variations from existing tooling to be advised.
rovex
Of course they may be announcing the date they're going to make the announcement!
Andy Y
My guess is that this will be an announcement of an announcement as it is Warley this weekend... So the Facebook post could be an announcement that there will be announcement about announcements? I wished they'd announced they were going to do this; we'd all be so much better briefed. 34theletterbetweenB&D
I wonder if there is anything really new for them to announce. At the rate they have been whipping out the new introductions, there's space to put a few more 'in the pipeline'. For example if the J50 does become available over this coming week there will not be a single solitary LNER group model to come. Now that's manifestly an offence against natural law. 34theletterbetweenB&D
Well, there is still the Stirling single in the pipe.... (Albeit not Hornby). And the Gresley O2 courtesy of Heljan. But I want four more LNER locos from Hornby in 2016, with an equal quality 'black engine' subject choice to the K1, J15, D16/3 and J50 bonanza of 2015. WD0-6-0
I suspect (given previous announcement content) we may be seeing red, a dark shade, say… maroon?
D1056WesternSultan
I am not going to hold my breath. All of the manufacturer announcements are totally unrealistic, unless that is, they have already started manufacture.
rovex
The same company launched the 2016 AIRFIX range on the 16th Nov.In a similar way on FB .Tease post 1st then range later in day. So have we got to fit 25 days of froth into a few hours, my god how am I going to get any work done this afternoon.
