darren01
Hi I am working on a new layout and have done the track plan, and i was thinking of having a Home signal on the near sideline, the idea for this is instead of trains running past i could hold them at the signal as another train passes. I think this will be interesting to have, but would i be ok to have one here?. The under the bridge i will have as a way to hid the exit to the layout would be where the station would be off layout, so the home signal is not far from the signal box. Would a Home Signal work here? Darren
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted December 18, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 18, 2015 Not sure about it being the Home Signal without seeing the rest of the layout Darren but no reason why you shouldn't have a stop signal there if it makes sense against your layout plan. Il Grifone
If there is a station to the left of the bridge, there should be a Home signal in this position to protect it.
darren01
Hi Yes the station will be off to the left, the track on the right will just go off scene.
