During the Christmas break I managed to sneak the odd hour here and there to do a bit more work on the layout's landscaping. Progress is slow, but I'm pleased with the results so far. I've also painted the back scene boards with a few coats of white acrylic paint as a base colour before I make a start on the sky. There are a number of bits and pieces that I need for the layout, so I've been making a shopping list for the Bristol show next weekend:-) I think the Bristol show is probably my favourite of the year, there's always something interesting to see and the bacon baps are excellent! It's been a while since I posted any overall views of the layout, so I've included a couple of views to show the progress so far.

I really must get on with resolving the platform edging situation, I thought I'd managed to get someone to agree to 3D print them, but that was back in September and no progress has been made! Once the edging is sorted out I'm looking forward to detailing the platform surface. I've got some rather nice etched brass kits of luggage trolleys and platform benches to build:-)

I'll finish this post off with a few images from around the layout.

Best wishes
