Thanks, I think nothing will ever beat swallow livery but I think green suits HST's rather well and Merlin is my particular favourite. The house move went well, now it's a case of sorting out the garage for the layout (once I've done all the other jobs round the house). But Githley shall rise again with a possible multi-level run to Buckingham Parkway.

Hope you don't mind me re-airing this Jimmy

I gave it a read through earlier, thanks for the tip re the weathering...

Then I noticed the station roof and I'm also looking to hide my end turn under one

But i thought the HST set deserved another airing, I joined around the time you started this thread and seem to remember the set on the window sill.

I must have been shy on the like button around that time.

Regards - Steve

No worries Steve thanks for the like, I will one day revive this layout when I have the time, although my time frame has moved on (as I wanted to run 68’s) and so the HST is long gone i’m afraid. The station canopy is certainly a great corner hider and as it’s OO you can fit 4 n gauge tracks under it.

Yes, but  if you look closely the "Merlin" Livery actually uses some of the same "lines" as "Intercity", as its basis.

That’s probably why I like it so much, certainly a better use of a previous livery than what other companies did I’m looking at you stagecoach with your orange stripe added to NSE, sacrilege!
