Calimero
Having read some articles in Railway Modeller/Continenetal Modeller a good source of power for kits seems to be the Lifelike motors/chassis. Where can I obtain these from, particularly the SW8? as this fits the Knightwing Industrial kit. I note that Lifelike are not around anymore? Also the Kato shorty and tram chassis can be used, again where can I get as most places are out of stock UFN. Any other choices? Thanks for your help Andy
Kenton
I can't believe this topic has gone unanswered for so long and I wonder if the OP might have left in despair. I cannot help regarding Lifelike Where can I obtain these from, particularly the SW8? as this fits the Knightwing Industrial kit. There are a number of topics on RMWeb concerning this kit and a search should bring them up describing a motor for this kit - there are more than one option for this "relatively" large kit. Also the Kato shorty and tram chassis can be used, again where can I get as most places are out of stock UFN. 009 society usually has stock among others and as a last resort ebay. Other motors/chassis for 009 kits include those from Nigel Lawton, the MPD18 from Meridian models
