DavidB-AU
This is not scale or prototype specific. It is pretty cool! http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/26134 Cheers David
34theletterbetweenB&D
That's a fine job, devising that integration of sensor outputs to provide a real time data stream. Do we suppose any model manufacturer might care to productionise it?
Horsetan
...Do we suppose any model manufacturer might care to productionise it? ...and make it compatible for use in a D&S NER Dynamometer Car kit....?

GWMark
This is pretty neat. I really like this sort of thing, hence my attempt at doing something with WiFi on board to measure scale speed and distance. I wrote up a little piece in by wrokbence blog Hot Spots & Speedos. To get charts etc you need to put the intelligence on the receiving side, the vehicle just gives a WiFi hot spot that you can connect to and pull the speed and distance data from. Reading this article makes me think I should get back to my efforts.
