Hornby HST (new type) jerky running

I have not ran my HST for about a year, last time i ran it. it was fine, now when its on low power, i.e, two bars on my dynamis, it is very jerky, alomst like its getting a pulsating signal, ive cleaned all the wheels and contacts, so they are spotless. ive ran it alongside other Hornby and Bachmann locos and they have no issues. I was beginning to think it was my new wiring, but its the only loco I own that does it, and like I said, it never did it before.

I had same trouble with one of my locos and ended up re-setting decoder, deleting loco from my DCC system and then re-instating it.

It worked for me thank goodness. Went into CV8 and set it to 8 (Lenz silver decoder).

Thanks, my deocder is a Bachmann 36-554, which is pretty standard over my fleet as ive never had iisues with them. Ill try a reset later.
