RMweb Gold Dan Randall Posted April 27, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 27, 2016 Your recommendations please, for any books featuring Gunnislake station, which contain plenty of photos (preferably in BR days) and possibly drawings of buildings and a track plan? I've seen several photos of a single car DMUs stood at the station in its twilight years and keep thinking it might be nice to model it (or something based on it), one day. brianusa
There are so many books dealing with the Callington branch and Gunnislake. Probably one of the most useful is Tavistock to Plymouth from the Middleton Press. For a good overview of the branch, John Vaughn's Branches and Byways in Cornwall is one of the best although Gunnislake is in Devon. There are a lot more on this subject. Brian.
