DMU detailing parts

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am looking to obtain some detailing parts for a class 121 bubble car l, eg the multiple working jumper pipes....

Does anyone know the best place to order these online please?

Thanks

Mark

Thanks all, I did try Craftsman a couple of weeks ago but couldn't get a response, will try again as they seem to do the jumper cable block that looks correct

There has been a long running thread about Craftsman - I think in the "Smaller Suppliers" part of the forum. Unfortunately they seem to have been unable to supply product for some time, and orders placed and paid for have required customers including myself to pursue refunds. I'd suggest you beware and investigate properly before parting with any money.

It would be great if the range became available again as it has many useful items, but I wouldn't hold my breath...

Thanks for the information, I had sent £10, 2 weeks ago for some parts which I doubt I will get back.... Or receive the items.

Disappointing really that people still take the money when they are not supplying items.... I have tried emailing and ringing this week without response

Have read through the thread which id seen it soomer, least it was only £10

Cheers

Or look at howes of Oxford for the Heljan sprues for the 128. You can get a lot of the bits fitted to their DMU from there.

This sprue seems to have all the buffer bran jumpers, pipes, etc: https://www.howesmodels.co.uk/product/Heljan class 128 DPU sprue E (black) ( 92 )

(Posting from my mobile, hope the link comes out OK)

I need the jumpers too, so will be ordering that, thanks to this thread.

It sounds as if you sent a cheque direct. However if you did an online order and used Paypal you can get a refund from them, and Paypal then reclaim from Craftsman.

Thankfully PayPal so I have logged a dispute then a claim to get my money back....

Makes you wonder why people can't add a simple note to their website to say we are not trading at the moment!

Hi, I had an email from DC kits the other week in reply to an enquiry about class 114 parts. It seems they don't have any/many DMU parts available.
