RMweb Premium terrysoham Posted May 7, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 7, 2016 This is brand new. It has a socket for a 6 pin decoder. I ran it in under DC as the norm and then fitted a Zimo MX 621N decoder. When running under dcc, the directional lights are on all the time albeit when I toggle F0 to on they seem to be a tad brighter. Toggle F0 to off and the lights stay on. I have never experienced this issue before. I wondered whether anyone else had this problem. Regards

RMweb Premium terrysoham Posted May 8, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted May 8, 2016 I have now swapped the original MX621N decoder and I have used two other MX621N decoders - all with the same result. Before I send the loco back to the retailer does anyone else have a similar problem? Thanks
Ron Ron Ron
Ron, This is a dcc problem. Where else should I post it? Regards Hi Terry. I wasn't having a go at you. You say you're having a problem, have asked a question and are looking for help. There is a specific section of the DCC forum titled "DCC Help & Questions". My understanding is that this section, "DCC Discussion Topics", is for general discussion on DCC matters, news and information. Questions and requests for help were given their own section, in order to de-clutter and presumably to keep some sense of order. There's a similar distinction in the "Prototype" forum, where there are sections for "UK Prototype Questions" and "UK Prototype Discussions (not questions)". In that example, it's even more clearly spelt out. Anyone who realises they've posted in the wrong section, can request that posts/topics are moved to a more appropriate location in the Forum. Best regards Ron .
RMweb Premium terrysoham Posted May 8, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted May 8, 2016 Thanks Ron, It's always tricky to know where to post isn't it? Anyway problem solved as one of the mods has now moved it. Kind regards
