Cynwyd is ready for its exhibition debut at the Wexford Model Railway Show over Easter. Here are a few shots with rolling stock based mainly in the early 1960's era of British Rail although the odd bit of GWR stock may appear as if the preservation had overshot Corwen to include Cynwyd which was the next station.

Hi Gerry, It was great to meet you over the Easter weekend at Wexford. I enjoyed seeing both your layouts, though I no longer model in N gauge Cynwyd is superb. It was a great weekend and thank you for allowing me to exhibit my Campbell Riverside layout.

Regards

John

Hi Gerry well deserved!

Fabulous model of a beautiful section of a fantastic line.

You could do with a shelf for trophies for future layouts!!

All the best,

John

Thanks John,

Not long to the Bala Model Railway Exhibition on May 27/28th. I am preparing Llangollen in N for its long journey and look forward to meeting up then.

Well done Gerry!

Well deserved! That's quite a trophy collection you are building, you'll be building display cabinets rather than baseboards next!

Well done,

John

Thanks John,

Looking forward to showing Cynwyd at the Bala Show on May Bank Holiday 2018! I am also working on a layout of Llanuwchllyn for the same show. How are you getting on with Llangollen in OO?

Gerry
