ChrisG
Hi, I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this wee problem. I have a number of Kernow O2 Class tanks (my layout is based on the railways of the Isle of Wight). I can read back the CVs on all locos other than those made by Kernow. To be categoric, I am using a Gaugemaster system and I do my programming with a Gaugemaster Decoder Doctor. All my locos are fitted with Zen Nano chips, some with the "stay alive" capacitors added. I can read the following CVs and addresses:- Bachmann E4 fitted with Zen Nano and Stay Alive Bachmann 08 shunter (ditto) Hornby Terrier fitted with Zen Nano (no Stay Alive) I cannot read the CVs and addresses of the following:- Kernow O2 fitted with Zen Nano (plug and play) times 2 Kernow O2 fitted with Zen Nano (hard wired, all Kernow fitted electronics and board removed) plus Stay Alive My local model shop carried out a test on one of the O2s with a Gaugemaster controller and achieved the same results. The shop owner also reports another customer who has problems running the Kernow locos at all using Digitrax DCC. I should add at this point that mine run perfectly, it's just the reading of CVs and Addresses which is the problem (which makes any serious programming a real headache). I'm beginning to think there is a generic issue with the Kernow models, and most probably the coreless motors, and would love to hear from other Kernow owners to hear their experiences.
