RMweb Premium Ray H Posted June 5, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 5, 2016 I am about to produce one of the box diagrams for my 4mm layout so that I can assign numbers to the levers in the frame.I have a couple of instances where, to keep the frame size within reason, two adjacent signals will be operated by the same lever dependent on the lay of the points ahead. Both signals will appear on the diagram but how would each be numbered? Would both be (for example) simply numbered 1, would they be 1a and 1b or 1(1) and 1(2) where the number in brackets is the (signalling) route - 1 or 2? Alternatively would there be a single number adjacent to and between both signals on the diagram.Hopefully there's only one answer

RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted June 5, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 5, 2016 LNWR/LMS/LM That sounds like there is more than one answer! I'm pretty certain I have a photo of just sich a diagram with selected signals on it - I'll post it in the next hour or two.

RMweb Premium Ray H Posted June 5, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted June 5, 2016 Thanks. I believe that is showing the two arms "bracketed" together and the arms labelled A & B.
LNERGE
This one shows a main arm and disc operated by one lever.. https://www.flickr.com/photos/pwayowen/16813201232/ and this one has selected signals everywhere.. It would be worth studying this one for a while.. https://www.flickr.com/photos/pwayowen/22032684080/
RMweb Premium Ray H Posted June 5, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted June 5, 2016 Thanks. The "E" diagrams seem to be more explicit about what causes the selections.
LNERGE
Thanks. The "E" diagrams seem to be more explicit about what causes the selections. The Haughley Junction diagram has discs selected by a facing point lock. A first for me.
