Pedanticmongrel
I have been building up a rake of MK1 Pullmans from the Graham Farish models, but I have noticed the latest batch have Black pipework, the previous releases all have white pipework, which is correct for the real thing? For the sake of comparison, 2 of the older models Opal and Hawk. and the two new ones, Robin and Pearl. I have looked in the Mark 1 coaches book by Keith Parkin MA and can't see any definitive answers, can anyone set the record straight?
Bluebell Model Railway
On photos I have seen Dan, the pipes should be the colour of the roof when the piping transfers to from the ends to the roof.I have seen on a PDF doc of one where they were black all the way... maybe depends on the preservation era. http://www.hmrs.org.uk/books/PCS-A%20-%20BR%20Mk1%20Pullman%20Car%20MCC&W%20Co%20-%20Lot%20Number%20-%20Issue%202%20-%20February%202015.pdf
