Exhibition photo and video diary

I decided to start this topic as I attend and have attended a fair few exhibitions at which I usually take a fair few photos and videos which are generally just for me to look at for inspiration and ideas.

 

I thought it might be a good idea to share those photos with other rmwebbers so they can see the layout they may not have got to see especially if they don't live close to where the layout normally exhibits. Also it gives me a place to keep a diary of exhibitions I've been to in date order so if I need to go back to find something I don't have to search through load of folders all the photos and videos will be on this thread in chronological order.

 

Having said that. Please feel free to post your own pictures of exhibitions you've been to. Hopefully this will give me further inspiration I may not have been able to see.

 

I have been to many exhibitions in the past and have not got the time to upload all the photos and videos so I will be starting roughly from the present. The first exhibition I will now post is the combined intense running days and model event at the Great Central Railway. I was ther for only one day on the Saturday and the pictures as all I post will not be in anyway exhaustive or broadly representative of the layouts there it will purely be the ones I had time to photo/video that held interest for me, whether that was intensity of running, period of layout, or another factor about the layout that just made me go wow.

A lovely larger scale layout called Whitwick. Was run really well plus had a lovely single track viaduct which I thought was really nice

That's is for GCR layouts.. There were other excellent layouts there including the brilliant N gauge layout Banbury. I didn't get any photos of Banbury because the time I spent at the layout was spent helping operate it over the lunch hour.
