PeteN92
After having an extensive search I cannot seem to find a topic about how it may be possible to go about modifying the fixed pony truck that Hornby have some kindly provided to one that actually moves and does just swing the back end of the loco out. I intend to do this on my rebuilt Bob sir Keith park If anyone has done this it would be very useful to see how it has been done. I would probably shorten the drawbar at the same time to bring the tender closer so any tips on that would also be great. Regards Pete
brightspark
Doug Smith resolved the problem. I think he cut off the rear of the chassis. I also have a feeling that he wrote an EMGS manual sheet detailing the conversion to P4/EM and decribed his modifications to the chassis. I will have a look through the manual to identify the sheet.
