RMweb Gold Brinkly Posted July 17, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 17, 2016 Greetings, I have had a quick look around and can't find the answer, so I thought I would ask it here. I'm currently building some BR steel mineral wagons, all are Parkside kits (PC21) which I believe is a diagram 108. The buffers supplied are horrid and I would like to replace them, ideally with Lanarkshire Models replacements. Do they produce such a beast, and if so what is there product number? Many thanks. Kind regards, Nick.
Fat Controller
B003 looks to be a likely candidate.

davefrk
Hi Brinkly, the 108 16t mineral wagon was built over a period of time and therefore could have various buffers fitted. As far as Lanarkshire Models buffers go our B003 is by far the most common type as built, then the same one but with a flat step on the top B024, early builds had a fabricated type No. B009 All with three link couplings and later Instanta couplings. In later years OLEO pneumatic buffers were fitted. PB01 with Instanta couplings or the longer BP02 with screw couplings. Hope that helps, Dave Franks.
