andyram
Just arrived back from the show. Very enjoyable indeed. There were some great layouts on show including Steam on the Cambrian which is stunning. Sadly I did not catch its owner Frank as he was away from the layout each time I visited. Woebegone on Sea provided some inspiration towards my next project and I enjoyed some of the smaller layouts such as Astley and Evington St Johns. There was a good range of trade and I picked up a few items for current and future projects. It was also good to catch up with some other RMWebbers including Peter BB, Northpoint and binny. Sorry Jeff I did not catch you before I left, the wife was outside getting soaked in the rain storm. Congrats to the organisers for another great Burton Rail-ex. Another enjoyable visit. OldNick
Attended yesterday, for the last hour before closing. Pleasant show, with as stated, some very decent layouts. Teamd on the Cambrian, as mentioned, plus Airesby Colliery and Charwell Drynogyth were my favourites.
