Caledonian
Picked a very nice second hand by unused or nearly unused [only one owner - little old lady who used it to go down to the bottom of the drive to pick up the milk and papers] Hornby L&Y Puggie no. 11250 Did the usual and tried to look up the original's history only to draw a blank - unless I'm missing something it doesn't seem to have lived long enough to gain a BR number. Anybody know where it was shedded?
LMS2968
11250 (L&YR 118 of June 1910) was withdrawn August 1932. I've no idea where it lived in between.

That was an early one; no wonder I couldn't find it. I wonder why Hornby picked it? Thanks for that.

Not really. 35 of the 57 had gone before WW2 - the first (11220) in 1924 and two others never got LMS numbers.
