When you say same of course the Bachmann model was a 47/3 which has different roof arrangement to 47/0 and different kit to 47/4 !

I just meant the same livery, because there was a second railfreight livery (which the Heljan 'Wilson Endeavour' was based on). This might help... http://www.class47.co.uk/c47_liveries.php?s_type=3&s_liv=13 Hey, thanks for that! I was looking at that website all night. Just one question, is there a similar website where I can find all class 37s which were in a particular livery?
RMweb Premium James Makin Posted October 2, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 2, 2016 It's also complicated further as some of these didn't receive the cutaway bufferbeam featured on Bachmann's model - there's a few decent RfD namers which need a bit of work before getting them to look right! The Platform 5 combined Locomotives & Rolling Stock annuals are a great starting point - all liveries and names listed on every class and then the research fun starts there! Hi, I'm not too worried about counting bolts etc, I just wanted to find out which class 37s and class 31 locos belonged to ralifreight red stripe and sector petroleum liveries. Cool, these books will be your friend! Despite being in the internet age, I still find these give the best livery/stock overview in one place! Amazon or eBay will help you find the right book for the year(s) you're modelling, all the info in one easy location and you can spend absolutely hours pouring over them, fascinating stuff! Enjoy! Agreed on the addictive nature of the 47 website Not sure if there's anything like it for 37s, I'd quite like an answer to that myself. Maybe someone out there will know... From my 1995-1997 books, I've found a few more named 47's that received the full Railfreight Distribution colours at some stage of their career - 47085 REPTA 1893 - 1993 47095 Southampton WRD Quality Approved 47186 Catcliffe Demon 47200 Herbert Austin 47218 United Transport Europe 47219 Arnold Kunzler 47228 axial 47241 The Silcock Express (later gaining Halewood Silver Jubilee 1988 plates - my personal fav!) 47297 Cobra RAILFREIGHT 47338 Warrington Yard Hope this helps! Cheers, James

My go-to source for the era being modelled James. They're cheap, available and rather more accessible instantly than the Internet. It's been said on this forum more than once that a Platform5 bible will answer piffling questions. And if not the links to UKRailDatabase or Class.bejang.com whatever frequently posted will garner results. Harrumph,C6T.
