RMweb Premium 65179 Posted October 11, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 11, 2016 Cardiff Canton 37/7s at one time used to work up to Metal Box at Westhoughton (not heavy freight, more as pictured above in this thread). As a result one of these locos would often be seen alongside the remains of Manchester Exchange at the west end of Manchester Victoria. I can't remember if it actually ran round it's train there or just stabled. This was 1991ish. I certainly remember photographing 37712 Tremorfa Steelworks.
