RateTheFreight
Evening all, Hopefully a quick question for LNER livery aficionado's... If I were planning an LNER ECML themed layout set immediate post war what date would I have found a mix of A3s and A4s in wartime black livery and post war garter blue for the (A4s)? I'd of ideally liked to have modelled the LNER during wartime in N gauge however aside from Dapols wartime black b17 and forthcoming flying Scotsman in black there isnt much choice. Cheers Greg
micklner
Depending on the Loco some remained Black until BR days, Mallard for example. Look at RCTS LNER Locos Pt2a for exact info.
slilley
Yeadons Registers are pretty good on that front for when black took over and the change out f black afterwards.
