Greg Lake dies.

Yes, Emerson and now Greg Lake in one year. Not quite as unexpected as Emersons death as Greg Lake hasn't been well for a good while.

Great loss, saw ELP several times and they always gave a great live show.

RIP Greg Lake.

The seem to be dropping like flies this year, yet another great musician, gone to the great gig in the sky.

RIP. All.

That is quite strange as yesterday still thinking about Keith Emerson I decided to play a few Greg Lake tracks.

As previously said 2016 has been bad year in that we have lost some great artists.

Likewise I saw ELP play a number of times in there heyday, could be a weekend of ELP albums

RIP Greg

Great bass player, wonderful vocalist. I was never much of an ELP fan but saw Greg a few years ago when he played on stage as a special guest of Jethro Tull on their 40th anniversary tour - he did a terrific version of Lucky Man (with full Tull backing) which brought the house down.

RIP Greg.

Just realized that the 8th of December was also the day that John Lennon was murdered and for those into 'metal' also Dimebag Darrell of Pantera also was murdered.

The 8th of December turns out to be an awful day.
