Blog- Jamie's 1960s Southern Scotland - Dear diary...

Recommended Posts

As this seems to be turning into a weekly thing - updating the blog - then I'd better give this week's headlines...

- got the wagon fleet lettered up over a couple of evenings, (half a dozen wagons by individual numbers stretched the willpower somewhat). A couple of example shots were uploaded in the gallery here, such as:

- tried my hand with the camera again, delighted by this shot

but that's reminded me that the steam fleet's sorely lacking while I've been distracted by non-authentic diesels. The wee Ivatt's just perching, and Dave might note I still haven't lopped the chimney off either.

- found more shots of Port Road trains, two of 80117:

and

http://raynortonsrailpics.fotopic.net/p62809831.html at Dumfries (different date and different coaching stock)

and, after hunting for a particular flavour of Black 5 unsuccessfully, I find:

Hmm, Black Fives.
