RMweb Premium 47137 Posted April 18, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 18, 2017 (edited) Some member's blog entries seem to have the row of little "feedback" icons ('like', 'agree', and so on), and some don't. Please could someone tell me whether my own blog (link bottom right below) still has these? Perhaps more important than this, what does a blog owner need to do to make sure these icons are showing? Many thanks, - Richard. Edited April 19, 2017 by 47137
RMweb Gold Ian Simpson Posted November 4, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 4, 2017 It's certainly showing now, so it's a pleasure to click the Like button!
RMweb Premium 47137 Posted November 4, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 4, 2017 This topic stayed so quiet I actually PM'd one of the mods to ask again - and they assured me the icons are always visible to everyone except for to me for my own blog. The conclusion was straightforward enough, I tried to lighten my style and then spent the summer away from the railway. Thank you of course for the "like". - Richard. RMweb Gold Ian Simpson Posted November 5, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 5, 2017 (edited) Well, I've really enjoyed reading all your Shelf Island entries - I think they are excellent. I may not always have clicked the like button, but I have always found them very useful and informative. And very well-written as well. Signaller69
Another thing to bare in mind is that the "mobile version" does not feature the icons - only the "full version" has this facility, so anyone viewing posts on their mobile phone (as I do most of the time, and I'm sure many others do,) has to switch to the full version to "like/agree" etc, by clicking on the switch link at the very bottom left of the page (which possibly has ramifications for data usage unless using Wifi).
