I've only built a couple of JLTRT wagons and the quality was ok, and I've done a couple of smaller, brass tank engines so building is not an issue either. £395 + £110 for the tender seems like an ok price. Without the ability to roll boilers, the resin ones are quite attractive. That being said, if there's a better kit, I'm all ears! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kubes Posted June 23, 2017 Share Posted June 23, 2017 As far as I am aware these kits were originally in the Chowbent range which had a very good reputation for accuracy in their day.
