Rob Pulham
I have just won what I view as a very reasonably priced O gauge LMS D1761 lavatory non corridor first coach kit from Haywood Railways on ebay. I have never heard of them and wondered if anyone had experience of their kits and could offer any thoughts or points to look out for? Thanks. Kenton
Yes have had experience of them - but only the wagons. Not bad, but not outstanding - would be my comments on the wagons. I believe the reputation of coaches is a little better and if IRC some of the kits were undergoing a revamp and with improved instructions - the GWR cattle wagon was certainly just such an example. Rob Pulham
Just received the kit and I have to say that while I haven't put it together I am impressed with what you get in the box and the crispness of the etchings. So far it looks like a good deal for the price of a 4mm coach.
