Its just so sad that these areas have lost all industrialization

Thank you for sharing that - my grandfather, also a Snowdon, was at one time the Engineer for what were then Lord Londonderry's Collieries, before they became part ofthe NCB. he'd retired by the time that film was made, but the railway was part of his patch, amongst other things.
