Viewing HTML5 format

Hoping I'm in the right area for this.

 

Been finding lately that when I try to

view some videos linked to forum posts,

I get an error message saying the browser

I'm using does not support HTML5 Video.

 

My stepson, who's a bit of a wiz kid

on these things had a look at it and said

he'd changed the default browser to Google Chrome,

but I'm still unable to view the video files.

 

Any suggestions welcome.
