martin t
Hi! I´ve been trying out different materials and methods of making a realistic, but yet easy-to-make gravel ground for industries, countryside stations and train yards. I finally ended up using the method presented in this video https://youtu.be/0hQxzNL7Drs

I finally ended up using the method presented in this video https://youtu.be/0hQxzNL7Drs Hi, like the technique, makes it so simple! However, instead of using gravel I will be using sifted chinchilla dust! I am disabled and gravel is a bit scarce near me, but my local pet shop sells 1.5kg bags of the stuff, ideal for ballasting (depending on the area modelled and time period) and scenic work! BlackRat
Been using chinchilla dust for years........ once laid, I spray it, tone it then dry brush it. Works for me.
