eastworld
Can anybody supply me with the dimensions of the Hornby L&Y Pug chassis, including the motor? I'm trying to see how small it is. A dimensioned drawing woul be incredibly useful too... Thanks Stu
Jenny Emily
I have just taken a ruler to my Hornby model of 51231. The running plate is 1_3/16" wide x 3" long, not including the buffers. From the lowermost point of the chassis up to the top of the motor is 1_1/2". The motor sits within the rearmost inch of the chassis. Without dismantling the loco (which I'm loathed to do as it has a weathered finish that I don't want to disturb) I'm afraid that's all I can do with a ruler.
