Lu4472ke
Hi all Recently I have been inspired by Chris Nevard to build a small OO gauge layout for the forthcoming model rail J70. so I found a shelf, some track and some buildings and got thinking, and this is what I came up with. The track is all Hornby settrack I had lying around, but I will replace the two points with Peco electrofrog points. It will be DCC controlled, And is 2.5ft (L) x 1ft (W) the buildings you see are from the Hornby Scaledale and Airfix ranges. Lu4472ke
One of the things I've been working on is this workman's hut. Made from a Triang LNER 20T brakevan body, I've put it on some sleepers and given it an overall weathering with Humbrol smoke weathering powder. Its not quite finished yet.
Lu4472ke
I have decided to set this layout in 1930 as thats the year the Y10's were introduced, but some Y6's were still working on the W&U.
BritishGypsum4
Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. Always something interesting to see with micro layouts and the challenge of making something that entertains too.
