60B
I have a Parkside 13T open omwb just now and reading the instructions, there are two diagrams: 1/039 with sheet rail 1/044 without rail My question is, is the sheet rail the only difference between these two? Thanks

60B
Sort of. /039 and /044 are 5 planks. The instructions don't say there are any mods so i'm just going to build it without the rail.

Pennine MC
I have a Parkside 13T open omwb just now and reading the instructions, there are two diagrams: 1/039 with sheet rail 1/044 without rail My question is, is the sheet rail the only difference between these two? All things being equal, yes - that would be why the diagram was issued. As ever though, there are other variations (principally brake gear, but also buffers and axleboxes) which were not denoted by diagram, but equally are unconnected to whether a tarp bar was fitted or not. Plus some 1/044 would possibly have been converted to bar-fitted, and (as the shots on Paul's site will show), most 1/039 would have all or part of the said fittings removed in later life
