RBC
Around 1991 26001 was painted into Engineers Dutch Livery and received 'Eastfield' nameplates. I've seen pics of the loco with a red background nameplate and also a black background one. Any ideas which one came first and why the change of colour, or was it a red plate on one side and black on the other ???
thedman
I was at the naming at Eastfield and they were red.
RBC
Thats great to know, thanks for that, red on both sides I take it ? It would appear shortly after that they changed them to black as seen below. Picture below is 1992, approx 1 year after naming. RBC
Thanks to all for your assistance. It's just up to me to choose since it would appear the red plate had a short existence.
