Final rest day before I go back on shift today so a effort was made to crack on with as much as I could, not a bad enough was done with the station area trackbed assembled, and a start made on figuring out how to increase the height of the back scene and create a fish bowl type view.

My list of to do jobs on the layout today consisted of:

Backscene boards to be cut to width, and length.

Cut to width, and length the the raised track bed for the scenic side of the frame work, the other side is being used as a work bench / tool storage area.

The DCC bus power wires have been secured to the underside of the raised trackbed, I’ve also attached the droppers to the track that I’ve laid so far.

However im unable to test it at the moment as i don’t have a controller yet!
