Brunel’s Paddington Loco Shed, uncovered.

Recommended Posts

This is 5 years old or thereabouts. Crossrail uncovered the remains of the shed (demolished in 1906). I am looking into finding the Archaeological report, which should be available by now. Love the masonry work in the turntable pit.

& covers a fair bit of the turntables as well as having some excellent maps & contemporary plans (hence the 16MB file size), not investigated the rest yet.
