Guest Jack Benson
Hi, Not normally baffled but Gaugemaster’s instructions are dependent on using their associated passing contact switch. I just need to understand the following:- Which contacts are used to control the turnout motor’s coils, normally a contact for each coil plus a common supply? Which contacts are used to switch the polarity of the turnout’s Vee, normally a contact for each stock rail and one for the Vee? In case you are wondering, I normally use Peco coil motors or Tortoise motors on Child Okeford but the SEEP motors are noticeably different. Cheers for your help Edited February 9, 2020 by Guest Typo
royaloak
Looking at the 'bottom' of the point motor with the terminals towards you they are lettered A, C, D, E, F, B A, C and B are the coils, A left, C common and B right. D, E and F are the frog polarity, D left, E right and F common. So in order left to right- A coil left C coil common D frog left E frog right F frog common B coil right I hope that clarifies it.
