phil.c
I fitted a Loksound decoder to my Bachmann 37xx diesel a few years ago, it's been running good since then, but yesturday it was dead, I took it apart, re- seated the decoder, then when I turned power on the decoder blew, I don't want to buy another decoder at £109 for the same thing to happen, so I want to try it with just DC, the problem is that I can't find the blanking plate, is there a way around this apart from buying one at around £10? I put the decoder back on in a position not over the two coils but in the other direction, it will actually go on both ways, can anyone please confirm that this is correct. The early Bachmann 37s have an 8 pin socket.
