RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted March 27, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 27, 2020 A most unimportant fault has appeared, following MacOS 10.15.4, updated on Tuesday. If I am in a thread and hit the back button, instead of getting a refreshed Unread Content page, I get the last one. I need to refresh manually, or click Unread Content. MacBook Pro and iMac. One for the developers in due course, perhaps. 2
truffy
I’m getting the same on both OSX and iOS, Ian. I find that there’s a difference in behaviour between going back and going forward though. Using ‘back’ doesn’t show threads as being read, but going ‘forward’ (e.g. using the breadcrumbs and other forum navigation buttons) does. It’s only been a recent change, and I’m not sure whether it’s related to the OS or Safari. Edited April 10, 2020 by truffy Missing word

I'll try and investigate whether it's a Safari issue, can't test the OS side of things though.
RMweb Gold D9020 Nimbus Posted April 10, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 10, 2020 Well, I'm using Safari on the current version of iPadOS and I'm not experiencing this issue—everything is as it usually is.
truffy
@Oldddudders @AY Mod I'm now finding that the back button on iPhone and Mac does mark items as read. Presumably OS updates have fixed the glitch. Here’s hoping that they haven’t introduced new ones at the same time.
RMweb Gold D9020 Nimbus Posted August 30, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 30, 2020 The same issue happened to me later on after an OS upgrade on iPad. It was fixed by a more recent upgrade.
