RMweb Gold TravisM Posted March 29, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 29, 2020 I’ve very recently bought some of Tim Horn’s excellent baseboards but I’ve found out to my annoyance that I’ll not got the PVA glue that I thought I had. At this difficult time, I was wondering what alternatives are because I found a complete tube of “Liquid Nails” and gun like dispenser and I was wondering if that will do? 34theletterbetweenB&D
You can probably glue the baseboards to your walls with it, if they are strong enough. Overkill in other words, don't use it on anything you might later wish to lift / salvage/ reposition. Making a trial in a concealed area and consulting the baseboard supplier would be my next steps. chris p bacon
You need PVA, any glue such as No nails/liquid nails will keep the joints apart. Some DIY are open, just keep away from people. 2
