4wDH
Morning I am wanting to know can I add rail joiners with the wires attached to this track to run power from my gaugemaster combi controller. I am only using one length of track as it’s a photo/running plank.

ejstubbs
As PMP says, what you enquire about is entirely feasible. When I do it - typically for power connections to an isolating section at the end of a platform road - I trim off half of the rail joiner so there's none left sticking out beyond the end of the rail. The photo below shows one I trimmed with a pair of wire cutters - the small amount sticking out the other side of the soldered connection can be concealed by pushing the joiner a wee bit further on to the end of the rail (you may need to trim the rail clips off one more sleeper to allow it to fit nicely). For a neater job, use a razor saw to cut closer to the soldered connection. Edited April 19, 2020 by ejstubbs
