johna
I have a n gauge electrofrog point but it doesn't have the thin wire for powering the frog to a microswitch. Is it possible to add the wire and where is the best place to solder it too.? Thanks Johna
jpendle
As standard Peco N Gauge E/F points don't have the dropper wire, the slips, crossings, and Unifrogs do. I usually solder to the rail inside the V of the frog. You could also solder to the wires underneath the point but you have to allow clearance on the baseboard or the point won't lie flat.
