Esmedune
I have faffed about with plastic work, but today I meant business, converting this Class 87 Pentagraph into the one used on 86214 Sans Pareil. Still in need of a bit of filing the excess solder off, then it will all need painting black. I have to say, without the TS-100 soldering iron, this job would have been really painful. This is the best Iron I have ever owned in 35 years! 3
Satan's Goldfish
If you're after a proper cross-arm pantograph for an 86, Judith Edgd make/made an etch a few years ago. I'm assuming that's an old Lima pan that you've got there which is of continental origin, that design is close to being right for a woodhead 76 or 77, but very wrong for a UK AC electric.

I just had a look, and I don't think it is worth changing, as theirs involves soldering and does not look that good, and while the base of it is probably right, I intend to keep it as a working option for DC.
