MS Outlook and Gmail.

I have recently left Virginmedia and will soon be losing my multiple email boxes.

I have now set up a few Gmail accounts and configured them as POP3 in Outlook. 

The accounts work when they send themselves a test email.
Using Outlook I can send myself an email and it goes to the relevant Gmail account but I can't receive it in Outlook.
I can send emails from my phone to any of my Gmail accounts and Outlook will receive them.
I can send an email from Outlook and receive it on my phone.

I can receive emails sent by others in Outlook.
I just can't receive emails I have sent to any of my own accounts using the same email client.
I could do this with the VM accounts.
