...were out and about in Southern territory today.  I videoed it in the fading light at Fleet; not ideal conditions, but a record of the occasion:

Lovely video of my favourite locomotive. As a wee lad in shorts I saw her depart Southampton Central in regular service must have been around 64/65. I was also lucky to go with my dad on an organised photography trip to Nine Elms again in 64/65 and again Clan Line was there along with other members and West Country’s and Battle of Britain’s. Ah happy days…….

In both of these, there appears to be a bad steam leak at the back of the tender.  Is this a leaking steam heat connection or something else ?

looking at the Clan Line website the compressor for the air brakes is in the tender so it is probably in connection with that
