DJW09
Good morning, In regards to my Z21 controller it appears to have a fault. I tried to upgrade the maintenance version but cannot connect to the Z21 interface through either the ethernet port or via WI-FI. The router also cannot see the default gateway either. I have tried all the recommendations that Roco recommend but it fail to connect. I did manage to get a PING reply for about 3 pings but after that I am unable to receive PINGS. It looks like the LAN Port on the Z21 is faulty I have lights but no data transmission. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone had this issue? Thanks. RMweb Gold RFS Posted November 19, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 19, 2021 (edited) I have two network cards on the PC in my railway room, with one dedicated for the Z21 and the other connected to the home router for internet access. I had to configure the Z21 card like this, as it didn't work when I followed the Roco instructions. I don't use WiFi with the Z21. You then access the Z21 via 192.168.0.111. DJW09
Thank you for your reply. I had tried adding adding IP addresses as stated by ROCO but that didnt work. However after hours of trying I have managed to get things working. I do not have a reason for it starting to work but thats modern technology. Regards.
PhilMortimer
You would be better moving tnhis topic to the DCC control section, rather than this model engineering section. You are more likely to get a greater response there.
