jgsi
Anyone successfully changed the port numbers on the DS52 using Railmaster? I tried to write to the board with the jumper in the write position. It said it had done it... no way of checking however, as the DS52 cannot be read back. It hadnt changed the ports numbers, so at the moment using the factory settings of ports 1 and 2. I don't think I am buying another one. cheers all Update : Port numbers changed. I had to rig a quick track power connector to stop frying the board when moving the jumpers as usng the elink it does not have a soft power facility. Pre configured Railmaster track plan with points and the new numbers. Did the number update on Railmaster. Swapped over the jumper to the run position and this time the ports worked. Editted the track plan to reflect the actual layout. Bit of a faff. Edited November 24, 2021 by jgsi Solution
Nigelcliffe
As the DS52 has been around for ages, used by loads of people, I suspect your problem is at the RailMaster end of things. That doesn't fix the problem, but your complaints should go where the faults lie.
RAF96
You should have asked your question on the Hornby RM forum where likely it has been answered severals times already. Not sure what you mean by a soft power facility but eLink has both Track (full whack) and Prog (low power) outputs.
